WHAT IS A MISSION CHURCH?

A MISSION CHURCH…

…sometimes called a “church plant,” is the intentional formation of a new church community. While a mission church can be described in many of the same ways as a particular, self-governing church, it has no permanent governing body, and thus must be governed or supervised by others. However, its goal is to mature and be organized as a particular church. (BCO 5-1)

The second daughter church of Redeemer hopes to minister to, worship with, and cultivate a Christ-centered community in the Haughville neighborhood of Indianapolis.
